If you’re unable to attend classes, these cards will give you the foundations you need. Or, if you’re doing classes, these practices can support your training and help you integrate everything you’re learning.
The text and images on each card will guide you through a beautifully designed practice. The poses are presented clearly and in a sequence that will support your body safely through the process of learning the fundamentals of yoga.
Once you have completed this ten-week program (whether it takes you ten weeks or ten months) you can always return to your favourite practices to review what you’ve learned or to reinvigorate your regular yoga practice. Each beautifully illustrated card includes tips on how to get the most out of your yoga. You’ll start with simple poses, revise them each week, and add new poses week by week.
Each easy-to-follow lesson will ultimately give you better health, flexibility and peace of mind. It’s advisable to take classes with an experienced teacher, but that’s not always possible or practical. The Yoga Basics program is designed to be safe for beginners even if you have little or no prior experience in yoga.
