Description
Perimenopause is the interval in which a woman’s body gradually makes a natural shift from more-or-less regular cycles of menstruation toward the complete cessation of periods. Women may experience all manner of symptoms, such as: mood swings, hot flushes, , night sweats, heavy periods or scanty ones. Going through this transition time doesn’t necessarily mean giving up a strong yoga practice but it does mean adapting to one’s needs as they change. Ideally the postures in this sequence should make you feel more peaceful, less tired and less tossed around by what can be difficult experiences of perimenopause.
