The Yoga Suits Her Blog

I’ve been blogging for 12 years now. At first, I was quite nervous about publishing my thoughts. Because I was shy about writing, my old posts were almost exclusively photos of the view from our bedroom in our Tambourine Bay house.

Remarkably, my original Ville Blog still exists. Does anything on the internet ever go away?  It ran from November 05, 2006 to January 12, 2010 and it’s still just where I left it.  If you’d like to have a look, the address is http://thevilleblog.blogspot.com.au/

I’m a tribal person. I like hanging out with people, and I love doing activities with them.
Stella, our neighbour who grows biodynamic garlic, dislocated and broke her wrist last week, just before the crucial planting time. She and her husband put out a call for help, and Heather and I signed on for the prepatory stage of separating the cloves from the bulbs.

Computer Blues

The other day my computer crashed. I felt like a baby that had lost its dummy. My first thought was: do I have back-ups? I wasn’t sure, and that’s bad.
I wonder if other people get as mad at their computers as I do at mine when it won’t bend to my will. My thinking is that a computer is this labour-saving device that is supposed to make my life easier. And, most of the time it does. This Moment

My housemates have gone off to our community choir practice. I opted to stay home. I’m tired and didn’t think I could generate upbeat energy this evening, despite the general cheeriness of the group.

It’s probably no wonder that people are wary of allowing themselves to be seen as vulnerable. The dictionary defines being vulnerable as “susceptible to physical or emotional attack or harm.” According to that way of looking at vulnerability, you’d have to be mad or masochistic to practice it.
