Yoga with Eve Grzybowski: Announcing a Brand-New Incarnation

Jul 24, 2018 | Being a writer | 7 comments

Text about a brand-new day framed by flowers and butterfly, to illustrate Yoga with Eve Grzybowski.

When I was growing up, ‘posting’ meant you needed to involve a postman and a letter. Receiving something through the act of posting meant that you got a letter. Do people even write letters anymore?

I started writing posts for my blog, The Ville, in 2006. Lesley Seebold of Change Focus Media encouraged me to do it because she thought I had an interesting story. This is the story of the group that I am part of called the Shedders. Eventually, there would be a film, a book and a blog about the Shedders.

I wrote my posts on The Ville blog reluctantly because I was afraid of writing to a global audience. All sorts of people unbeknown to me might find me and read about me.

What happened surprised me. Instead of the blog writing being burdensome or scary, my passion for writing grew and grew.

The Ville blog morphed into a new and beautiful creature, Yoga with Eve Grzybowski in 2010. To date, I’ve published 1257 posts.

I’m excited to announce that YSH has a fresh incarnation, one that is simpler to navigate. There’s a new design that lets you easily access all the wealth of my writing in ‘The Vault’ archives. As well, the brand-new site is where you can find all manner of Eve resources in one place: books, videos, practice cards and posters. There’s even a shop.

My husband, Daniel Weinstein, is the brains behind my blog. I call him my computer guru which implies that he has been teaching me how to get around on WordPress. Not true. As good as I am as a yoga practitioner and teacher, I am virtually unteachable regarding management of software. So, I write, and Daniel makes my writing look good and gets it out into the world.

I bow down in gratitude for the days and weeks and long service Daniel has dedicated to creating the brand-new Yoga with Eve Grzybowski. He is a perfectionist.

But at the same time, you are the ones I’m writing for. We would love you our readers to have a play and a look at the site so we can have your feedback. What works? What doesn’t work? What would you like to have more of? Any feedback or suggestions at all are very welcome.

Of course, we would love to hear any praise for YSH, too. Especially if you have been a loyal follower of the blog over the years. We really hope to hear from you about the new YSH!
