A Friend for Life: Yoga

Apr 5, 2013 | Health, Yoga teaching  | 1 comment

Forty-three years ago, a friend dragged me along to a yoga class. If I’d looked into a crystal ball to see my future self, I would have said, ‘Aw, go on, that’s not really me – a yoga teacher, how did that happen?’
I reckon I’ve turned out pretty well after all these years, and a big contributor to my mental, physical, emotional spiritual health has been yoga.
Have you turned someone on to yoga recently?
All you have to do sometimes is invite, and then maybe invite a few more times after that. Everyone’s doing it, so any recalcitrant friends, acquaintances, family, or workmates will end up doing it sooner or later – might as well start now.
There are beginners courses starting up in the May term at most yoga studios, so you have plenty of time to prime your people. Go on, I dare you. They will thank you 🙂
