Little Favourite's

Sunday is a perfect day to frequent your favorite cafe. In my case, this is Little Favourite’s at the one-time surfing capital of the mid-north coast, Old Bar.
Things I like:
* John and Virginia, first cousins from Oxley Island, refugees from the city, are authentic, grew up in the area, and are passionate about good food.
* They support the locals by selling their locally grown produce, knitted scarves, & pottery
* Display of postcards from around the world sent by unknown travelers (unknown to me)
* A kiddies corner with toys and a bookshelf full of board games for adults
* Crockery which is quaint in the style of old-fashioned melange
* Oh, and I like the coffee!
What has any of this got to do with yoga? Well you might ask. Heather H. says it is an ancient ritual that yogis adjourn to a cafe after class. So, if you find yourself in the area and stop in for a class at the Yoga Shed, you must try Little Favourite’s.
Note: A famous cricketer, who I had never heard of, named John Martin, is the namesake of Little Favourite’s Cafe. As a cricketer he had the nickname “the little favourite”. He was the uncle of proprietors, John and Virginia, and he was their favourite.20110710-075947.jpg
