Back in Sydney, back at Simply Yoga tonight to be taken in a class by Jen Taylor. A class, as she described, taught with a restorative approach.
Such an amazing thing to be led through a class by someone whom I’ve taught for years and then mentored as a yoga teacher. In this evening’s session, I had an experience akin to being held lovingly in my own hands. Not in any way because of imitation but because the yoga practice has been interpreted after being embodied and then spoken in Jen’s own beautiful voice.
I’m still basking in the afterglow.

  1. I too was basking in the afterglow after Jen’s class last night.
Since Jen started teaching on Tuesday nights I feel she has really blossomed and her classes are something to look forward to.
But then she had a nurturing teacher.
    Great to see you.

  3. Thanks guys! And what a thrill it was to have you in class, Eve. I was nervous, I admit, teaching my teacher, but what a joy to have an opportunity to watch you practice. Lots of love,
    Jen.

      • Beautiful, Eve. Just beautiful. Like watching ballet in slow motion.
